Whole House Remodel:
Spruce St., Boulder, CO
At the time our clients purchased this early 1900's historic home, they were faced with extraordinary challenges not common with most projects. When purchased, the house was rough framed with windows, but without any interior or exterior finishes, including electric, plumbing or mechanical services. Our challenge was to complete all renovations within a 10-week timeframe, prior to permit expiration under which all original construction had begun nearly 3 years prior. This project was completed within the time constraints, but not without a tremendous amount of coordination and cooperation with the City of Boulder and our sub-contractors.
The finished house has 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a full finished office suite in the basement. A rooftop deck offers panoramic views of downtown Boulder and flatirons.
Rockmont, Boulder, Colorado
Our clients wanted to extended their living space by finishing their full basement, but didn't want it to "feel like a basement". We worked with the client, architect and structural engineer to help create a space with abundant natural light through the addition of large windows and natural stone-lined window wells. The finished space now offers a comfortable family room, recreation area, new full bathroom and finished storage area.
